I don't get it. drinking water noting what I'm eating. and standing and moving around all day long and I'm gaining instead of lossing.

I get between 1700 calories to 2500 calories depending on my activity. I take in 1 to 2 protein shakes a day. I eat about 3 to 4 times a day and not eating after 7pm. I drink about 3 to 4 32oz waters with an energy drink. 1 to 2 16.9 water bottles.

Marilyn Mae, maybe consult a doctor if you haven't already, but I agree that you might have to drop your calorie intake!! I know it's hard tho! My key is that high protein, real foods instead of empty fillers keeps me feeling full and even satisfied at 1500-1700 calories. That little 200 calorie shift can do wonders! I also work out for usually 45-60 minutes on my treadmill 7 days a week so.... Whatever you do, don't lose heart and stay with it!!!! Sometimes your body just needs time to heal, which might result in a little gain, but you'll be better off for it in the end! At least in my experience ☺️

Taking a quick look at James Smith's calorie calculator it says you should be eating 1900 calories. That's probably the issue.

Your water intake is fine, good to hear you're exercising, but your food intake needs to come way down. Think 1300 calories/day. And even when you reach your goal weight of 150, you likely will not ever go over 2000 calories/day. I'm not a fan of drinking calories (protein drinks), as I feel they don't satisfy like chewing food does. But however you re-work it, there's too much food being eaten at this point to lose weight.

I'm not sure 1300 calories is enough without a doctor's consult. When I first started FS they wanted me to be eating 1200 calories and I wasn't losing a blessed thing- upped it to 1700 and I'm cruising right along. I would suggest starting slowly. Wean yourself off 100 calories at a time and be healthy about it!!

I am with you on that. I drink green tea diet and coconut water. eat a high protein and low carb. I ate a fried chicken and dinner and regreat it.

Try reading The Slow Food Diet-it is not a secretly thin program because I’m still “fat” but I found it totally revolutionary and very helpful.

I have to agree with kayj and oats, a step down in calories is probably the best 1st step. Like kayj, I usually maintain about 1500-1700 calories. Please don't do anything drastic. Small sustainable changes will pay off. Don't think of your journey as a diet. It must be a healthy lifestyle change, that you can LIVE with for the rest of your life. If you go on a diet, that indicates that you will at some point go off of it. Thus begins Yo-yo Dieting, which is proven to be as bad as obesity if not worse. Eat it, Log it, Live it!

I am not an expert but if you log all your food i strongly believe that you consume calories enough for a woman of that body weight to lose fat easily. I also read your profile. Are you sure that your thyroid issues are under control?

Marilyn, do you use a food scale? That's the most accurate way to measure your food to get calorie counts. You may be eating more calories than you think.

Oldsom, if your theology sources are anything like your diet sources, that's not saying much. Even among ppl who claim to be Christians there is sin. The Roman Church used their power under the banner of "Christians" to control ppls lives to the extreme. And I noticed how you easily avoided the fact that thousands of ppl were drowned, burned on the stake, and hung during those times. You think they all did that for an obvious lie? What about all the people who were killed by the Romans in the times of Nero for being Christ-followers? That would have been close enough to the time of Christ that they would have heard of Him from parents or grandparents. THEY would have known if it was a conspiracy. You think while they had their limbs tore out they were just maintaining a lie?? Please. You know what? I'm not going to say a single other thing on this post. I actually feel kinda bad fighting with you. It's kinda sad that a 15 year old girl has more sense in her head than an 80 year old man.....just saying
