Hey guys, first off thank you for the support it actually really helps! I was approaching 250lbs on the scale and decided I needed to make some changes, as I wasn't feeling good physically and mentally my self esteem was diminished greatly. Learning from past mistakes of trying to achieve a perfect diet and making drastic unsustainable changes,I knew I had to take it slow with something I could commit to without feeling deprived. Being a daily beer drinker (3-6 nightly) I knew I had to stop. I thought that was going to be torture but I quit easily and never gave it another shot. I will have an occasional beer while out with friends but I no longer keep it in my fridge, because if it is there I just can't help myself from grabbing one. I also made sure to make it a habit to count everything I eat and drink, no excuses, no exceptions. I input my food as I'm eating them, if not I will forget later. This also keeps me mindful of what I'm about to eat and reminds me how many calories I've already consumed today, if I'm reaching my daily limit I might choose to wait to eat it later or choose something more filling with less calories. I try to finish every day in the green, but if I go in the red one in awhile i don't beat myself up too bad. I haven't been overly restrictive with my food choices although I'm doing my best to stay away from processed foods whenever possible. I also I don't keep bingeable foods in the house. Other then that I just try to stay positive, feeling better has made it much easier to stay on track. Also don't worry if your weight loss has stalled, I've gone 2-3 weeks and lost no weight at all, then the next 2 weeks end up losing 5 pounds or more all of a sudden. So if your doing things right just stay on track and get into it for the long haul. Congratulations. I think you said that you used to drink beer daily, 3 to 6 beer. eliminating that beer has eliminated a lot of calories and carbs. Excellent strategy! You are an inspiration! Yesterday I saw online that Donald Trump weighs 244 lb, at 6 ft 3 inches in height.
