Wow, I went back to the weight I was two weeks ago! Despite the low-carb bars I ate this week. That was unexpected!
I am happy because I have an appointment coming up with a gynecologist working in a private health care clinic. It is not as expensive as I thought, but this is still a sunk cost compared to if I was living in another province. As least I will have the chance to discuss my options regarding my fibroids and heavy bleeding.
Talking about heavy bleeding... I just had two almost back-to-back periods! After a 3-day break after my last period, the annoying brown discharge I was complaining about last week started. I did not realize that it would link with my next period, which came a bit earlier than usual (last Sunday, so it's been almost a week). This is when I decided it was time to call the private clinic despite the costs.
Another challenge I would like to undertake is to avoid late-evening snacking. Most of the time, especially on Fridays, I don't eat a formal dinner. So I snack instead. Problem is, I noticed after some blood glucose testing that my fasting BG is on the high side (close to 6 mmol/L). Last time I tested it went down less than 2 hours after eating breakfast, but the high fasting BG is something I must control before it becomes a problem as for my blood pressure.
