Back in March 2006, I started my weight-loss journey at 230 pounds. Here it is March 2008, and I am staring 145 in less than 10 pounds away! I have done it gradually, safely, and without cravings: I've ate more on this way of life than in the past when I used to hit the AYCE bars. Furthermore, I am in the BEST shape I have ever been in my life! No kidding!

wow. That's quite an accomplishment! You are proof that it can be done. I sometimes get frustrated when I have a small loss, but your example shows me that slow and steady wins the race!
