Returned from my cruise late Wednesday night. Did OK with the walking - I averaged about 11000 steps a day despite the fact that we missed 2 ports due to weather. There were no yoga classes on board. So I just walked around the ship on the days at sea.
The vegetarian choices were OK, but nothing so special that I wanted the recipe. They had some very good soups (the best had added cream) and a lot of the dishes labeled vegetarian had cheese.
Vegetarian food on the plane was OK - one a spicy vegetable curry with rice, the other time it was ravioli, again with some cheese, but it was over a bed of spinach with a good marinara sauce. Vegetarian food in the airpots was dreadful and tasteless - next time I fly I’ll bring nuts and fruit.
I did gain 3 pounds but I expect to lose it in the next few days. I did splurge a little because I did have plenty of wine and desserts and I did not pass up the lobster tail and some occasional smoked salmon.
Hopefully I’ll do yoga classes at home the next few days because I came back with a cold.
