Work was busy yesterday, but I made it through. For dinner, my family was going to go to The Adriatic Grill for dinner. I know its this nice Italian place where I could get a good cut of salmon or something somewhat healthy to eat, but my mom instisted on going to Red Robin because she doesn't like anything "funky" or "fancy". I was a little upset. I've been working so hard on trying to eat better. I did get a Boca burger on a whole wheat bun. I split a milkshake with my dad. My mom ate a whole plate of chicken strips plus some of my sister's unfinished chicken with extra sauce and finished off what my sister, dad, and I didn't eat of our milkshakes. My mom then asked me if I was in a bad mood because of all the health food I've been eating. Honestly!? How supportive is that? My mom has a weight issue herself. We should be supporting each other. Not shooting each other down! I was really upset with my mom. Just because I'm trying to do something good for myself doesn't mean she can sabotage it.
I'm going to boot camp again tonight. Maybe this will chill me out. Just me and Michele tonight though! Wish us luck!

I did really well yesterday! I kept my caloric intake low and i exercised! I also kept it organic! I really am starting to enjoy this!
My exchange student left yesterday to go home to Germany. I wasn't as upset as I thought I would be. I miss her, but it hasn't hit me yet. She sent me a text last night around 1:30am to let me know she made it home safe. It woke me up, but that's alright. I got to sleep in about a half an hour today and I was in bed by 10:30pm! Good deal!

Yesterday went alright. I started out good. Then I went to my Grandma's for dinner where she made Stir Fry. It was really good, but mostly because I ate white rice! But I did eat lots of veggies!
I'm really sad. Today my exchange student,Vanessa, who has been here with us for 10 months is flying back to Germany today. I had to work today, so I didn't get to see her off at the airport. =[ We did say goodbye this morning and it was really hard. I pray she makes it home safely and adjusts quickly to her life back home. I will miss her so much!

My first day trying to go completely organic! I had some organic yogurt with almond slices yesterday for a snack, and it was delicious! I think they really do taste better than the normal processed foods that I eat. I'm also cleaning my office's bathroom with ecofriendly products this morning. Just because I have to clean the bathroom doesn't mean I have to sit in a room full of bleach! Gross! I'm also going to try eating every 4 hours today. That way I wont be hungry throughout the day and I will be getting a balance in blood sugar. I hope this helps! I already feel better!

I finished reading Jillian Michael's Mastering Your Metabolism today. I have made it a conscious effort to now eat organic whenever possible. I went to Safeway and got organic apples, milk, and yogurt and also got earth friendly biodegradable cleaning products for at work. I then hit up my local Trader Joe's for organic hummus, veggies, and Ezekiel bread. YUM! I'm going to try to balance out my hormones to aid my fight against weight! =]
