I got a new scale so I think this weight may have been my weight the whole time and my mom's scale was just screwy. Let's see how this goes!

Yesterday I finally got the money that was stolen from me about a month ago reimbursed! So I took that money and bought some things to help me on my journey. I bought a Brita water filter pitcher for use when I house sit my grandparent's home in a few weeks. I also bought some glass storage containers for work so the foods I eat are heathier due to lack of plastics. I also bought a new scale that calculates fat and a measuring cup to make sure my servings are accurate! I want a heart rate monitor now, but I think I will have to wait a while and see how this month goes money wise. I know I can't put a price on my health, but I have to do a little at a time.

This holiday weekend got the best of me. I enjoyed being with my family and friends and did what they were doing - EATING... I did swim in the lake most of Saturday though. I still gained about a pound back this weekend. I'm starting to feel discouraged. I don't know why it's so hard for me lose weight and keep it off... I think maybe its a problem with my thyroid or something. Until I get that checked out, I'm going to keep up my diet and exercise. This is my last week off before I go back to classes - 5 classes! - and I want to give myself a boost for summer quarter! I can do this! I just know I can!

Happy 4th of July! I'm going to Lake Tapps with my family today! I'm going to go swimming and I'm sticking to fruits and veggies for lunch. Keep me away from all that greasy picnic food!

I started out yesterday eating an abnormally low amount of calories for me. I think it was only 1100 by the time I had finished dinner. I went to boot camp at 8, but it really started at 7 so I missed it. I did work out with the weights for a while though. Then of course, we hit up Denny's around 10. It was alright because I had eaten so little through out the day, but I shouldn't have eaten after 9pm. Especially all those carbs! Awful.
