The fact that I am holding at 238 is good for me but I am hoping I can get it to drop off this plateau soon. 8 more pounds to my first goal. Oh it would be great to do iut during the holidays. It has turned colder (9F) with more snow on the way. Glad I have the indoor bike to work with. Maybe I will do Wii today as a change of pace. Maybe both if I get really motivated. No more cookies tyo bake today. I have one more recipe I want to try but I have to get rid of some that I already have.

It is cold and snowy. I am very proud of myself. I was very honest yesterday about my food intke and even with the dinner party and dessert I stayed under my 1800 calorie count. I was pleasantly surprised when I got on the scale this morning that I had lost a pound since Thursdya. Yahoo. Today I am making some more cookies. Why do I torture myself? Well I have gotten better in serving myn sweet tooth with just one or two. I used to eat 10 or 12. It is my private test. Getting ready to get back on the bike today. Another 30 minutes. Exercise and portion control is the key I am finding.

Good morning FS buddies. Another glorious day. Didn't get on the bike yesterday as we went to Billings (1.5 hours each way) but I did well on my calorie intake. Today is dinner at my place with friends and I will try to be good but the dessert is decadent and I love it so... I will try to get on the bike today in between cleaning and cooking. Happy Friday all and a silent prayer for Newtown CT at 9:30 EST.

Was pretty good yesterday. Stayed below my 1800 but again I did sneak some sugary snacks. Did my 30 minutes on the bike again today so I am feeling very good about that. Baking cookies now for a husband who has to have sweets around. I will give him that. Since his severe heat exhaustion this summer he has cut way down on the beer and wine he drinks-something I have wanted him to do for a very long time. Give the man cookies. Now to get him to do some regular exercise like on the recumbent bike, with the Wii or just walking. He needs to work on the cramps in his legs. Wow-here I am trying to get him to do stuff healthy. usually it is the other way around. Getting ready to have some turkey salad for lunch. Yum!

Felt good about yesterday-30 minutes on the bike-watched my intake although I did snack too much. Already done my 30 minutes on the bike today and watching carefully what I eat. Tonight is dinner at the Senior Center-oven fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy-I will try to be good. Then it is off to Pinochle-and I know there will be fattening snacks. I will bring my cheese popcorn-everybody really seems to like it. Wish the weight would come off faster-seem to be at a plateau but I just need to keep at it-cut out the sugary snacks even if they are below my calorie count and eat healthier. Gonna be tough through the holidays.
