Overall, I had a very good day meeting my diet goals. It's been five days since I started, and I am noticing some positive changes to my mood and energy throughout the day with little hunger. It feels like a constant flow of energy. However, I need more sleep. I am only averaging about 4, but I should be doing seven to eight to be on my best game.

I have been doing more research on LCHF diets. My main question has been about the proper macronutrient distribution. Based on how I feel and what I have been reading, I am shooting for about 5% carbs, 25% protein, and 70% fat at around 1,500 calories a day. I don't feel as good without a little more protein. I noticed that when I had very little protein yesterday. I clearly need more fiber.

I need to work on food prep. I think my success today was due to planning what I was going to eat the day before. I would like to prep food for the coming week on Saturday.
