I did well again today (I think). Went out to lunch with clients today and ordered a steak sandwich with cheese but didn't eat the bread and got veggies instead of fries. Then at a work party this afternoon I avoided the cake and only had a very, very small amount of the sugar free lemon meringue pie and my sugar free chocolate pudding instead.

I did lunges on Sunday and I my inner thighs are still sore. I am going to force myself to exercise again tonight after giving my legs a two day reprive from the gym. Lunges ALWAYS kick my butt(literally - my butt sore too).

Yesterday was tough - don't know why. I was cranky and lazy and just couldn't get myself to do anything. I attempted for the sake of my overall mission, but only exercised a half hour instead of my usual hour.

Had myself a date night with my husband last night for the first time in probably 2 years. Tried to eat well - picked a seafood restaurant, thought I was ordering smartly by picking broiled foods, but once they arrived EVERYTHING was soaked in butter. The scallops were sitting submerged in a cup of butter. I am going to have to do some serious exercise this weekend to make up for that. Then on top of that today, my office had a bbq lunch for the employees. Think I did pretty well, I only ate the turkey and beef without the bread, some fruit salad, but did endulge in some honey roasted cashews. But I avoided all the cookies, brownies, etc. even though the smell of them was killing me.
