Back from our cruise and of course I gained. Why am I even on this site if I don't have any will-power? All of you inspire me and I am full of good intentions and then my BF takes me on another cruise and because the food is so good I eat too much and come back feeling like a blimp.

My boyfriend is just too good to me. He wines and dines me very often, and faced with a menu of delicious food items at Chez Piggy or Aqua Terra or Chien Noir I'm just a girl who can't say no! The end result is that I seem to be stuck at 146 lbs and most of my summer/cruise dresses are snug to say the least.
It's all about portion control I think so that is what I will concentrate on for the next month or so plus more veggies and less rich sauces.

Oh darn it!!! I gained 2 lbs. I have been very inactive recently because of the pneumonia that my man and I got at the end of our last cruise. He says that we won't be going on any more cruises because a) He is too old and b) We both got sick. However after all our cruises (6) he has said that we won't be going again and we have! This is the long story but the point of it is that I have not been up to my usual tennis and walking so have been sitting around feeling sorry for myself and eating all the wrong things like chocolate and cheese.
NOW FOR A FRESH START: I am playing tennis twice a week from now on and will force myself to go for a brisk walk on the other days AND I will cut out the cheeses and limit the chocolate to just a coupe of small squares each day. And I will make healthy food choices. You are what you eat. The photo was taken at an early morning get-together to celebrate the Royal Wedding.

Went on another cruise with my boyfriend. Got a tummy bug and then a bad cold. No appetite. Lost 3lbs Hooray!!!
I think I will try to eat more soup - maybe only soup for lunch but not "cream" soups. Calorie counting is easy with soup and lots of soups are low cal
