I haven't weighed in for a long time. I let all my dieting go and I wasn't working out. By the time I got back to work on Jan. 3rd, I was up to 150 pounds. On Jan. 3rd I started Weight Watchers and I am back down to 146 pounds, so I have been averaging 2 pounds per week. It is encouraging...I hope this works!

I am eating healthier but I am still making poor choices. Like last night I had a can of regular pop instead of diet. I have to be more strict...my spouse is starting a new diet and going to the gym on Monday so I hope this will help me!!! I am going to the gym at lunch today, I will probably ride the bike 4 miles.

Today, I am not going to the gym, which might be a bad choice because I have a busy rest of the week. I just found out last night that my spouse needs to go on a low-fat, low-cholesterol diet...this could be good for both of us, seeing as I am trying to watch my diet. Does anyone know any great low-cholesterol foods? I am off to do research on it now.

Today is the first day for my journal entries...I hope this journal will help me stay focused and encouraged to achieve my goal. I am headed to the gym on my lunch hour today, I'll only have time to do about 30 minutes on the bike, but should account for 4 miles. I also intend on stopping at the gym on my way home from work and do at least another half hour of cardio.
