Most people think of a diet as having a beginning & end. Really, it is about modifying your eating & exercising habits. We discussed this in our WW meeting, and there is no such thing as "cheat" days or when the 12 weeks is up going back to eating whatever you want...the weight will just come back on. If you crave the "bad" foods then allow yourself to have them - in moderation. I give in and have ice cream, but I make sure I count my points. And what WW has done is taught me what an acceptable portion size is. I thought this was a great topic from our meeting and wanted to share...

This week's weight loss was surprising considering I went out of town and ate out all weekend. I need to start drinking more water and exercising! I hope next week I make it to 140...then I will have lost 10 pounds!!!

This week I didn't make the best choices in food but still lost 1 pound. I really need to get motivated and start adding a workout to my diet so the weight comes off faster...I'm also going out of town this weekend so I am worried about all that eating out and making the right choices...

Slowly it is finally coming off...since Jan 3rd I have lost 5 pounds!! This just keeps me motivated to stay on track and keep eating healthy!!
