Interesting to read about other people's relationships with food here, and how they perceive themselves. There seems to be a fair bit of self criticism going on, language that's to do with 'disgust', 'lack of self control' and so on, which all seems quite sad:I bet loads of people who allow their inner critic to go to town on a self demolition job would never talk to others the way they speak to themselves.
I have loads of reading and note making to do this evening, and had a request to make an apple crumble with ice cream. I've stuck to my diet plan like white on rice for 3 weeks, and decided I'd really like some too. A small piece, with a very modest scoop of ice cream, and I've got to tell you I loved every crunchy, creamy, hot and cold morsel.
If I'd gone down the resistance path, I think I might have eaten a lot of sneaky little bites as a kitchen cleaning perk, or a really large, rebellious, oh soddit! sized helping. It wasnt a big deal, it's just pudding, and I'm getting back to work now, but the leftovers aren't calling me from the fridge now.

Homemade crispy chicken,guilt free fry light oven chips,red cabbage and cranberry coleslaw. It's my long day at uni, this hit the spot for fast,easy, pretty good for you dinner,and popular with my 13yo.Now to bang out some homework for the morning lol 🙂

Chilli with loads of veg (tomatoes,celery,carrots,mushrooms,
red pepper)on coriander cauli rice,and a green salad. Even with low fat creme fraiche,avocado, a scatter of cheese and pomegranate seeds it's only 500 well spent calories 😋

Cold weather dinner: beef stew,green beans and a pile of cauli mash. Frylight wins the day, and a little cornflour to thicken, low calorie and doesnt taste like diet food. No excuses not to do this now 😉
