Tomorrow is another weigh-in day. I have had a pretty great week!
If I stick to my plan for today (in my food journal), I will have 23 activity points remaining, which I haven't done in a long time.
The last several weeks, I've been "in the red" with my Points by at least 4 or 5. And I've been losing anywhere from .2 to 1.2 in that time.
It will be interesting to see if eating less helps me to lose a bit more, or if eating more was really what my body wanted.
Either way, I'm pretty sure that my weigh-in will be a good one.
BTW, I was briefly considering switching my eating plan to a more high-protein/lower carb regime, as outlined in The Dukan Diet... but I have since remembered the real reasons that I love Weight Watchers so much: It works for me. Why mess with a good thing, just to be trendy?
I do actually love the idea of Dukan, though. I may actually try the maintenance phases of it once I get to goal. I think that is one thing missing from Weight Watchers: a maintenance stability plan.
On WW, I will go straight from the "weight loss" plan to the "weight maintenance" plan, with nothing in between. Hopefully I will be able to do it!
I still have 11 pounds to go, so I won't worry about it quite yet. Or hopefully... I only have 10 pounds to go, if my weigh-in tomorrow goes the way that I hope it will...

Food and Exercise Journal: 5/12
Time- Food/Exercise
8:00am- oatmeal, almond milk, peach
12:30pm- 2 boca burgers, steamed broccoli, 1 tsp EVOO
5:30pm- brown rice, black beans, baked veggies, 1 tsp EVOO
7:00pm- banana, 2 tbs peanut butter
7:30pm- small salad with green leaf lettuce, tomato, and vinegar
8:30pm- strawberries
9:30- 40 minutes on the bike
Observations about my day:
Hmmmm, that's an awful lot of evening snacking. It makes me wonder whether or not I was actually hungry for all of that, or if I was eating just because I could and because it was there. Even though I made mostly healthy decisions (everything today was Power Foods, with the exception of the peanut butter), I think that I overate a bit.
Tomorrow I will try to watch my evening hunger a little closer. I have plans all evening long, so it should be easier to avoid boredom eating!

I'm only 1 pound away from having lost 75 pounds total!!!!!!
I'm going to start this WW week right with a good cardio workout.

I decided to track my planned food for today on here. I haven't tracked outside of Weight Watchers online for awhile, and thought it was a good time to check in and make sure that I'm still within my calories and everything. And everything looks good!
Except, as usualy, my carbs are out of control! But if you look at my meal plan, you can see that I am eating whole grains, beans, vegetables, and fruit quite often. Those all have carbs. I really don't think there is a way to reduce carbs on a vegan diet, even when eating healthy. I love my carbs!

down .3 this week! I will make this next week a better one, but I'm still pretty proud of any and all losses, even the teeny ones. :-)
When this happens, you have to remind yourself about how BIG .3 seems when it's in the other direction!
