Dang!

Back from my fantastic holiday, first weigh in since the mechanical scales nearly a week ago.

dang, gosh, blast it all to heck. innit.

was a fantastic break. I had an absolutely lovely time. Ran into a workmate at a shop. He's like 'why are you down here?' I'm like 'um why are YOU down here?' Lol. New Zealand: 6 degrees of separation my foot. two if you're lucky.

Did lots of pseudo-granny things with my little 23 yr old friend, or is she 24 now? her baby is nearly 2. I bought him a giant pile of blocks, he had no blocks and was definitely hitting that age - and put them in a big tote in a double bed sheet. Double bed sheets for lego and blocks and such is my signature move as a mum. Tidy up time? Boom! Done!

Was a much-appreciated time away. I am so grateful for my literally oldest friend (35 yrs, more? 37 yrs) giving me a space in their house for me to unwind, and a spot in their office to do my work.
