Has anyone tried that 7 day cabbage soup diet? That's the one that you loose 10 pounds in 7 days? Curious.

Hmmm. Sounds the menu for Charlie Bucket's impoverished family's diet on Willy Wonka! Think about it -- to be so desperate that we're willing to consider eating like a miserably *starving* family in order to lose weight! Yikes. For my part, I've long given up on "quick fixes." I need a lifestyle change, and that's what I'm committed to. Crash diets are too painful, and the results too fleeting, for me to be tempted by them anymore. Are you just curious, or thinking of trying it?

I tried it, but didn't last more than 2 days. If you commit to it for the time, you might lose just because you stop eating after a short time!

I did it in the 90s hahaha, after 5 days my stepmother was angry with me because I looked pale and forbade me to continue because I was going to faint. I never did it again, really the little weight that you lose you get it again the following week. Maybe I didn't do it the right way but I don't recommend it. 😋

My mom did back in the 90's I thought it tasted delicious but I love cabbage

I did it in December before holidays.. lost 7 pounds.. But I really had very little energy during that week. You tend to gain it all back if we go back to regular eating the next week. I prefer eating healthy and exercising now.

Thank you all. I love cabbage soup but I just found out about the 7 day diet and was curious. Sounds like it's not a good thing. I'll stick with what I'm doing.

something to remember...regardless of what diet or way of eating you do..changing what you eat..to a healthier way of eating causes weight loss...and in the beginning water weight is what comes off first...
