52 days to go
19.6 days to go
16:8
30.3% body fat
Carbs 20.27g
Fat 125.61g😱
Protein 95.68g😱
Cals 1631😱

I think that's the first time I went over my fs Rdi of 1500 Cals for months.😳
Was really stressed and decided to have cheese after my meal .. Brie or Boursin.. I had both
Then realised the strawberries wouldn't last.. so had them with cream( I thought afterwards that treating my body as a dustbin to avoid wasting food is not a good idea)🤔
So although I had a 16:8 day and avoided krackerwheat and didn't go over on carbs, I managed to go way over on fats and protein

Still, I avoided the pasta completely and only ate the salmon sauce. I had " sock eye" salmon as it was reduced.. it was LOVELY . Will try that again, full of flavour.

Last in bed last night with a sore belly as I was just too full. And to think I used to enjoy feeling like that all the time 🤢🤢

Oh well , today is a new day

Have a happy and successful Wednesday fs friends😁😁

It's a lesson learned though, isn't it? Next time put the strawberries in the freezer - they'll go mushy but they'll still be fine mixed with yoghurt or put in a smoothie. No waste and if you freeze them on a tray then put in a bag, you don't have to eat them all at once. They might even go well in the microwave keto muffin from ditchthecarbs.com 🤔 Have a great day!

We often eat to comfort ourselves in times of stress. Unfortunately excess protein is stored as fat but at least you kept away from the carbs. I hope you have a calm and peaceful day today, Poppy.

I'm the same Pops, I eat rather than waste. It has been pointed out to me that over eating is wasteful in itself but the lessons learned in childhood are not easy to break - especially as they were so strictly enforced at the time! I think Phook's idea is a great one and I will take that on board. I throw away very little food over the year and hate it when I do but rarely think of the freezer oddly. Anyway, waffling, you've had a bad day - meh, pick up and carry on lovely, today's a new day x

Isn't sockeye salmon a delight? And I marvel at and am grateful for the "new normal" of going to bed without dining ourselves to sleep. If you can even call what I did dining. So, if not 100% all the time...we stay the course overall. --- I often have a "backlash" after reaching a big goal. So sometimes patience and self-gentleness goes a long way. As does good salmon! :-)

Poppy just keep concentrating on doing a 16:8 IF everyday and those after dinner treats will cease. At least for me they have. *knock on wood* You are doing great. Just a set back. Stress eating, etc. Phooka's ideas are terrific!

I'm slowly learning Phooka's lesson. 🤷🏻‍♀️It's taking forever to sink in and for me to figure out where and how I can use those foods I store in the freezer and to stop over buying on groceries!🙅🏻I grew up with parents who were kids during the Depression and WWII and they taught thrifty lessons of eating all on your plate, no food waste, stockpiling food, and other habits that are hard to walk away from or break. 🤦🏻‍♀️Don't get me wrong, when my kids were young and my husband lost his job, my 3 months of stockpiled food kept the family from going hungry, ever. But I don't need hoards of food now. 💁🏻So new habits.🙋🏻
