Hey FS Warriors,
Round 7 in clinic chemo done, just have the pump I call Wilson with me now. For those that haven't seen it yet here's how it works. I get the pump of 5FU chemo for 2 days and it attaches to an IV port that was implanted in my chest.
After 2 days Wilson is flat and looks like Tom Brady got a hold of him. Then I go get disconnected and wait 11 days for the next round.
Good news is everything is looking good as far as blood work goes. The doctor cut the oxalplatin dosage in half to help with the neuropathy and next round will be my be last with that drug so the neuropathy doesn't become permanent. On the homestretch now only 5 more rounds to go.
I've attached a pic Wilson and where he connects to me. As a bonus you use it to scare small children and it also repels most rodents.
