Well I learned that I have got a good handle on portions and distribution and frequency while I am at home. But, wow, while traveling I definitely get a poor grade! The first trip this month was deflating. Plane landed, grabbed the rental car and scooped up my colleague, and met the workshop group at a prearranged restaurant. There was not a single item on the menu that fit my diet plan! It went downhill from there. The second trip was a bit better, I packed more veggies and nuts and was able to chose where I eat and got a bit more exercise/walking. Have a third trip coming up. In addition to planning ahead I have been meditating/visualizing in preparation for this one and expect it will be better.
