I am a 55 year old female that has been up and down in weight through the years. At times I have been active and at a healthy weight and about 11 years ago I was the smallest I'd been since high school at 106 pounds and a size six. But today I weighed in at over 200 pounds! I am worried that with my age and hormonal changes that if I don't drop the weight and get healthy I am setting myself up for health problems that will keep me from enjoying this part of my life. My work conditions have changed over the last year and a half and I am quite sedentary now. I am hoping that by joining an online community the public disclosure of my progress will help motivate me to eat healthier, add some exercise to my routine, and get healthier. The most difficult times for me are at night when I eat at the computer or watching tv, or trying to say no to seconds since I cook for the household and what I make I think is delicious.
