Back to work, 2 days to my birthday and retirement eligibility!! I know you're not supposed to wish your life away, but the last 2 years all I wanted was to be 55 and able to go. Don't get me wrong, I have loved the work I've done (June 2nd = 35 years). My health has had ups and downs, but now I'm ready to focus on myself and devote time to my Keto WOE and getting regular exercise. I work 10 hours a day and cook, clean, not a lot of energy left these days for what I want to do. The husband is overweight and "pre" diabetic and I need to get him in good shape so we'll have MANY more years together. I usually start my b-day with breakfast in bed, coffee, Lucky Charms - used to be my favorite cereal growing up, however this year I think I'll start my day (I consider it a personal holiday) with a new tradition - a healthier one! As usual, taking that day off and this year I'm going to a Salon/SPA and get a mani/pedi and my hair done. :-)
