There was a terrible rain and wind storm from 10 p.m. last night until 2 a.m. this morning. We have a beautiful sunny day. The ground had dried out enough by 3 p.m. to take a walk. Our 2 peach trees are in bloom and the daffodils are starting to open. I walked around our pond and out to the road to bring in our garbage can. It was a little better than 1/4 mile. I was so happy. This time last year I would have been out of breath and dragging back to the house. The walk was so exhilarating; I wasn't out of breath or tired at all. I'll do it again, if no time tomorrow the next day for sure. :)
