I messed up. I attended a "trig party" and the only snacks offered were dr. thunder and dorito chips...I really didn't want all my friends knowing i'm dieting so i gave in. Try again tommorrow. :(

If you learned from it, it wasn't a failure. Think about what you are going to be doing in the future in the same situation.

I can totally sympathize with being on a diet but not telling anyone! It's impossible to avoid food/snack situations. Maybe try carrying around some healthier options when you're going to hang out with friends. Doesn't have to be something obvious like carrots, but maybe a 100 calorie pack of something you like. Or grab a bunch of Doritos but only eat a few. They won't notice. ;)

Actually, For atkins the best thing to do would be to eat a high-fat/high-fiber snack before you go. Atkins bars would work. Flax crackers with cream cheese, or just eating dinner before you go.

It is difficult sometimes saying you're on a diet. But people will also be surprised by your willpower if you pass on things too. I have done it in the past. Even recently I've passed on lots of food choices with friends because I'm doing Atkins...

Thanks guys :) I went ahead and had a sort of normal supper with my family - i ate their veggies but suprisingly i didn't want any starch. I have learned how bad it feels to mess up after 2 longs weeks of trying so hard and i don't think i can do it any more lol
