I was never one for sharing my weight issues with others but over the years..... and there have been plenty... of being overweight I have learnt that there are others.... just like me..... who struggle. In the past I have lost weight and like many others have managed to put it back on again albeit not to the level I was. For me discipline on a weight loss journey is a key issue. We have all heard the expression "one bad day doesn't make a bad week" but for me it sets the mood for the next couple of days. So, hopefully by being part of my current journey with others, logging my food, my exercise and my thoughts this time, maybe, I might finally get the results I want to see.

I have been a rider on the diet merry-go-round for all of my adult life. I lose, I gain, I lose, I gain, etc. I am finding this site and the other users very helpful. If you ask for specific diet advice there will be a member who will give you pros and another who gives you the cons. If you need encouragement then this is the place. I find that if you log the bad and the good it really helps. I can look at the binge days and the non binge days and be reassured that the non outweigh the binge. I can also look at what I ate on the binge day so it will not be in my flat again, for example individual pizzas or potato wedges. I have yet to binge on salad!
