Hey y'all, hope you had a terrific weekend and Father's Day. I'm still logging food and exercise, but I'm doing it on another site now. Since I'm eating from all ze food groups I decided to do that macro tracking and go at it from a IIFYM approach. The food tracker in myfitnesspal deducts calories from all macro categories as I eat them. It's a pretty neat and handy tool for anyone doing the macro thang. I'm still gonna check in here and whatnot, but I can't say I'm gonna miss comments from lookieloos about my diet! Lol

Although there is little movement in the scale the past few days, my sore muscles are telling me good things.... so is the tape measure. I last checked my measurements 2 months ago and I'm down another 8 inches off mah body for a total of 22 1/2 since February 19th. Me and my boobies couldn't be more pleased... I can now wear 3 more bras I had previously gotten too big for! Yayyy for my bewbies!👐😂👏😁

It doesn't. There are 100 other sites that go over it for free. Just like I'm sure I can find many places charging to teach you about LCHF.

I was talking specifically about IIFYM, that seems proprietary, LCHF is not proprietary, it's a general concept, like "calorie counting".

I'm not paying shit... I'm just making sure that all 3 meals and two snacks that I'm eating stay within my set macros. Please take your negativity elsewhere. I'm working hard on myself and succeeding while eating and getting my body in good physical shape at the gym. Why do you feel the need to down talk and call what I'm doing gym bro nonsense Phil? Maybe eating so little is making some people in here grumpy??? Lol damn it, don't piss in my cornflakes. We don't all have to be on the same effin plan. Swerve

So is IIFYM. At least to my understanding. Somebody may have trademarked the name, but the concepts are pretty general.

It just pisses me off. It seems like you get attitude in here if you're not fasting and doing lchf these days. Like excuse me if I want to eat like a normal human being. Excuse me if I'm willing to sweat a bit to make this work. Is working out harder than sitting on my ass and just avoiding carbs? Sure it is, but nothing in this life that's worth having comes easy... and that includes my health.

And I agree that there's way too much friction between diet strategies and I find that disheartening and disappointing. No one give a fig how I lost weight, and that can be said of ALL of us and it's why I don't recommend anything to anyone, I was merely discussing the way certain things are worded, IIFYM is merely another way of saying "counting calories", there's a lot of deceptive marketing going on on the IIFYM website, I wasn't speaking to what you were doing, stuff you can learn by reading any 7th grade Health class textbook.

Eating a cup 'o pinto beans as I read this. Every day when fasting, it is this big old bowl of beans in my fridge that I dream about.

It's more targeted calorie counting though. Every day I have a specific amount of calories I can eat of fats, carbs, and proteins and once I hit the mark I'm done. I've got all my meals planned out until Sunday staying in the set ranges and I'm eating bread, pasta, rice, and fruit along with all the things I had on Atkins. As long as I'm hitting these targets it really doesn't matter what I'm hitting them with. I've got whole grain English muffin pizza planned for dinner tomorrow. I couldn't be more excited about being able to put that mess in my face and still stay on track health wise! I didn't think it was possible to eat those dreaded carbs and still lose body fat, but I've proved myself wrong. It's so freeing!

Beans!!!! Yes beans. I've been eyeing a can of baked beans all week and keep forgetting to fit them in sonewhere. I'm also pretty excited about having beans in my chili again and using them in soups and stuffs. I'm a little jelly right now Ladyindenim! Lol
