Well, I'm excited to run the race on Sunday and feel ready to do it. It is a 15K, so 9 miles. I think there will be around 10,000 runnners. My w/o partner and I went out on Sat and ran a new route doing 7 miles in 1 hr 15 min. We were pretty happy about that being it was cold and raining and we went anyway. It is a very hilly course too so I have gotten used to training on big hills. Downtown is not hilly at all for the race so hopefully that will be an advantage.
I hurt my knee the other day twisting it funny while I was sitting, so now it hurts but it feels ok when I run.
I have been doing good eating properly for race preparation but way overate Mexican food tonight. I feel like a bloated burrito. Ugh. Right back in the zone tomorrow.
