I have been away from this site for quite some time, struggling with some ongoing health issues and chronic pain. So, ever the emotional eater, I have gained some weight. After a good long talk with my husband, I think he finally understands the issues I have with food. It is funny, being a counsellor for those with significant drug and alcohol issues, you would think I could recognize my own addiction to food.One of the things I stress when working is to find as much support for your journey of change as you can. Well I am back, going to do a paleo based method of eating with some minor alterations and hoping I can find some extra support here. Happy New Year everyone.
