Two questions for my fellow pound-releasers/svelte-seekers:
1. Why is this website called "fat secret"? It doesn't seem like a positive name since it reminds me of what I want to move away from. Why not "svelte-secret"?
2. Is a cup of something measured in weight or volume? Is it weight for dry items and volume for liquid items?

I weighed a cup of water at work and it weighed (after weighing the cup) different than 8 oz.

A cup is a volume measurement not mass. This means that a cup of flour is different than a cup of water.
It can be a dry or wet measurement depending on what it is you are weighing.

I think of the name as implying anonymity. Few people use their real names, most use a "handle". In this way one can spew forth all manner of confessions and not worry about getting criticized in the real world. There have been a number of freeing confessions I've seen that I feel might not have been made were it not for the site. Yep. That's my story and I'm sticking to it:)

Actually, Fatsecret's keywords for google search are: diet, diets, FatSecret, fat secret, big fat secret, weight loss, what works, diets that work, customized diet plan, personalized diet, diet recipes, weight loss community, nutritional information, better dieting decisions, popular diets, diet community, calories. Which from the Search Engine Optimization point of you, makes google rank them lower in the results because they have more than 10 keywords search. They really need someone who knows SEO to work on their site a bit.
