Happy Monday!

After enjoying Halloween with spiked punch, beer and some good food I am getting back on track today. After talking to my trainer I am taking a different approach to my diet.

"Eat Real Foods"

My trainer and I talk all the time while at my sessions. He has come to figure out that I freak out over about I cannot eat this or that. Like giving up rice and potatoes and even dairy. He thinks because I am making everything so limited I cave on weekends and eat too much treat foods.

So starting today I have some new goals
-Eat real foods
-Do not cheat until Thanksgiving Day
-Follow Paleo guidelines
-Keep Dairy to a bare minimum
-No processed foods
-No grains other than rice on occasion

I feel like I can do this. I notice when I tell myself I CAN'T then I am more likely to fall off my diet and eat crap.

And I don't even crave processed foods! My main cravings are a good burger and homemade baked fries drizzled in olive oil.

Diet is so much more of a mental challenge!!

Back to no coffee again :) sticking with tea!

I agree, it's a mental challenge, all about discipline. I am a couch potato, fighting my fight against my bad habits.

Your goal diet list looks great. Clearing the kitchen off all the garbage makes cheating much harder.

I agree, only bad thing in my kitchen right now is my boyfriends candy, which surprisingly I do not want. I would eat a homemade cookie over a crunch bar

This sugar addict is shocked that the cravings have left after totally banishing sugar (even fruit) from my diet. This is so amazing to me! I hope as you cut those things that tempt you that your cravings will cease also.
