Hi everyone!!!🙂🙂🙂🙂 Thankyou very much!!! The closing is scheduled for August. Debra you remembered correctly, I lived in Florida for many years, I grew tired of the extreme heat and never ending summers, left Florida in 2021,age 52 wjen I retired from my government job of 31 years

Southern Illinois here, welcome to a beautiful area......and taxes 

Nice, I can relate to the never ending summers there. I was in West Palm Beach for twenty five years, but I could not handle the winters in Illinois! I love the season change here in East Central Georgia and the fairly mild winters are just enough for me. We have had snow here twice in the 13 years and it was lovely. The blistering heat and humidity in July and August ain't so great, but the rest of the months of the year are pleasant a mostly tolerable. Congrats on your new home! 

Debra, Southern Illinois is similar to the weather in northern GA. They don't even really get a winter here. Last winter we only got snow maybe 10 times, and only 1 of those could be considered a real snow fall. Two years ago it was 74* on Christmas. Not like central or northern Illinois at all. In fact, it will be a lot warmer than the weather she's used to in Indianapolis. 

And Dado, you aren't kidding about the taxes, especially Jackson county!!!  

Nice!, we have taken a few vacations in the mountains of North Ga, Helen to be exact. On July 4th it was 75 during the day and 55 at night, quite lovely! But the winters are still too cold for me, anything below 40 and my boobs hurt all the time!

Lots of Information!!!🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂, honestly I am just happy to get out of Indianapolis, No offense to anyone that lives there....but too many shootings for me and not like I did not live in highly populated area of Florida. My county was one of the most populated counties in Florida and we did not have the stuff that goes on in Indy. Have a super weekend everybody👱‍♀️🐈‍⬛

Hi Wico and Dado,🙂 I was curious, I checked out the taxes Indiana vs Illinois, ...I am actually going to save $1800+ moving to Illinois, super great news!!!!🙂🙂🙂🙂 Indianapolis and Indiana in general are high in taxes!!
