Better late than never. Friends came over for lunch and swimming. We had a big salad with lots of veggies and some chicken. Too much dressing. Good conversation and laughs. Tonight is the Relay for Life in our town. It could be fun, but it has been a negative trigger for me in the past. However, that is the past. I am feeling a little ambivalent, though. I normally would avoid it but my husband is running the karaoke portion of the night and my mom is there walking with some friends. I could use the walk because I feel as though I am just going to sit around and snack my ambivalance away. So I am going to face it and turn the page by making this a positive and fun time. More good can come then bad by going...exercise, time with mom, socializing, all for a good cause.
