Last night I decided to treat my boyfriend to dinner at out favorite BBQ place. I did not eat pure paleo and I treated myself. No guilt there at all because I wanted it to be my last treat meal before I sign my life away tonight.... no no jk! But my boyfriend picked up the bill behind my back...he is SO SNEEKY...
But tonight I had planned a free MMA trial class at the gym my boyfriend used to train at. It is purely MMA/Karate/Krav Maga/boxing etc
I have been wanting to do this with him the past 6 months. But we have been waiting until his school ended. Which it did in December. Now my boyfriend's excuse is his job and how tired he is after the workday. He wants to wait until he gets laid off by April 1 to sign up. I told him he cannot make the "job" excuse every time because he wont be laid off forever and he will get a job again. (he is a union electrician) My boyfriend still has great skills in MMA so I have no idea why he is so lazy. I got fed up with him last night and said "Look It is fine if you have no desire to do it, but I don't want to sit home and watch TV every night" Also -in the past- right before I met my bf, I had a situation that could of been avoided if I only knew self defense- that being said- I am fed up waiting. I have no excuses. If the class isn't cancelled due to the snow I will go tonight with or without him- he will go because I am. But if it is cancelled, we will have to go Tuesday which is fine. Point is that I would be more comfortable and have so much fun if we would just do this with me.. I cannot force him but I feel if he sees me start he will start...and I know once he starts he wont stop. :)
