With Hawaii being 5 months away, i decided it was time to get my ass in gear, so i'm doing another round of Southbeach. And i even got the hubbs to do it with me! Thats pretty huge, every other time i've attempted a specific diet, he's been the reason i fail, becuase he refuses to cut back on anything or keep certain items out of the house. Its pretty dang hard to stick to a diet when someone is waving a cookie in your face every 5 minutes.

So over the weekend i did my little 'pre diet ritual' and ate everything bad that i could possibly think of. The point of this is to squash any cravings that may arise in the near future. When i eat little total and complete shit all weekend, there is nothing i want more than a nice clean meal, and it makes the bad stuff way less tempting.

ANyways, thats all for now, just wanted to update you guys on my dietary status. :0) Happy Monday!

OooOoo Hawaii! Ahh--Double the support if your hubby is joining you! Wow, how did you swing that one? Hopefully he sticks with it, with you! The whole reason I had that hotdog last night was because my saboteur was waving it in my face, and now he's trying to convince me that we need potato chips and ice cream sandwiches. Teehee! I love how we have the same pre-diet ritual. Hopefully you're feeling in the mood for clean eating now. Happy eating, and have a great Monday :D

That's awesome about your husband. I agree it is SO much easier to stay on track when your man is going through it with you. I always fuss at my husby when he buys junk at the store, because he buys it, but doesn't eat it! Then I end up eating it when it sits there long enough. It's a constant debate in our home. Congrats on getting your husband on board! I am not married, but spending 4 out of 7 days a week with my significant other makes it hard to diet right! For lunch on Sunday I had a 210 calorie protein shake while he had 2.5 tilapia filets (leftover from dinner the night before), bread, asparagus, and rice. It was like a gormet feast compared to my shake which he won't even touch ("It's not sweet enough!!"). He can eat tons of food while still being on a "diet" and it makes me oh so envious. Plus, everything he orders, he always wants me to try. He can also eat tons of pre-dinner snacks in which I stay away from, and loose 5 lbs in a week. I am very jealous of your Hawaii trip and I hope you can get the results you want before your trip :)
