Several people commented on how I look like I am losing weight. I know I need to do a weigh in but just think I will be disappointed that I lost nothing but gained. Everytime I think I lose weight it always goes this way I gain. So instead of weighing I am going to take measurements tonight and track my progress in inches instead of weight. I am so intimidated by the scale!

Sounds like a great idea. The scale doesn't always reflect our hard work right away and can take time.

If you don't like the scale, that's ok! Take your favorite pair of shorts or pants. Don't wear them for 2 weeks. You know how they feel when you have them on. In 2 weeks, you'll have lost and they will fit looser. Did that just this week! :0)

Tbh, I find measuring your body fat more reliable than looking at a scale all the time. Scales fluctuate A TON and they're good for a once or maybe twice a week kind of thing. I don't like 'em either! Personally on my end, the fact that clothes are fitting better means the diet is working. I still suggest checking that scale just to see how you're doing, but measurements are SUCH a reliable way of gauging how you look to yourself and others around you.
