And another one bites the dust! I busted the zipper on yet another sports bra! You just cant cage these warlocks! hahaha
Seriously tho, its becoming quite the challenge. I'm now unable to do any form of intense cardio (that includes jogging) until i can get to the store and purchase a high quality sports bra, so i guess my focus will move to weight training.

I'm pretty aggravated with that tho, becuase by the time i am able to start running again, i'll have to start from square one. And it took me a ton of hard work to get to where i was, and starting all over again just does not sound appealing to me... Oh well, maybe i'll rediscover my interest in running some time in the future, but for now its time to set my sights on weight training.

And i happen to be completely clueless on the correct way to weight train, SO... any and all advice is appreciated. :)

And the scale was back up to 136 today. grrrrr

Warlocks! LMAO :D I don't have advice on how to weight train; does your gym off any free sessions with a trainer? And don't forget keep in mind the whole muscle-weighs-more thing. If your building muscle, the scale won't move as fast. Pay more attention to your inches, that way you'll see your true progress. :)

haha Yes, my best friends husband starting calling them warlocks ages ago (my friend is also well endowed) and for some reason it stuck! My gym does do free sessions, but they end with them trying to hound you into paying $300 a month for a personal trainer, which pisses me off! But there is this girl at the gym that i kinda know through a friend of a friend and she has had some amazing results, i'm thinking of stalking her around the gym and copying all her moves. Just gotta figure out her schedule first... LOL

Warlocks??? LOL, love that one. I totally understand feeling set back in running though. Once you take a break you are back at square one. But, what matters is that you start again. Weight training + running = great results. I basically copied a lot of my weight training moves from various DVDs. You could do the same (Debbie Siebers slimin6 was great) and/or go to SHAPE.com and they have nice workouts laid out for you with pics. Have a great one!

I just thought I'd chime in...in general alot of clients goals mainly target weight loss. I am assuming that you are going for that as well. I would suggest that whatever weight training exercise you decide to implement, make sure it is at a weight to where you "fail" at 12-15 reps. This is an endurance target and generally with endurance training you are recruiting Type 1A muscle fibers, which will hinder any Type 2 muscle fibers which are associated with muscle growth. I would start there. Another good workout reference is gymtechnik.com - there have videos and standard workout plans in place that may help guide initially.
