I have been eating under 1000 calories and have been frustrated by not losing any weight...until I read about how your body lowers its metabolism when it doesn't get enough calories. So, I guess I need to eat more? Maybe I'll jump on the protein smoothie bandwagon.

I have that same problem. I have to eat at least 1000 calories in order to lose.

Happy day the SP force is here fighting forward for health. As to calories I really think you need to track and discover what YOUR body does. Happy discovery while you figure it out.

It happens even if you're just at a calorie deficit for a long time. try to eat you maintainence calories for a few weeks then back to a deficit.

For me historically, adding in hiit cardio 3-4 days a week forces you to burn calories and makes the weight drop when you're Calorie restricted.
