Back from five days in a mountain cabin - no computer, no internet, no phone! :) Ate a lot of stick-to-your-ribs soups and stews and my homemade sourdough bread, but also skied and snow-shoed everyday. I am not going to worry too much about it. Now that I am back in civilization, will re-start my diet today.

Thank you, jessyline! The way I look at it, it took about 3 years of over-eating to put on that 15 - 20 lbs. I am going to give myself at least 3 to 4 months to get rid of them. In the meantime, I am not going to stop living. It was very, very, good to get away from the city. I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

I agree, the best way to lose weight is to go slowly. It took me years to lose 20 pounds, and I never gained one pound back. The weight just kept going down, slowly, my body changed for better and never went back. Especially when we are already thin, it takes time to make any change.
