Had surgery on my foot on Friday Mar 19th. The surgery went well, but I was on my feet too much so got put on bathroom privileges only when I saw the surgeon last Wednesday. The pain is pretty bad, but otherwise the incisions look good. I am NOW following orders and staying off the foot. I can't wait for this to heal so I can begin walking again. I have been very sedentary of late, and that needs to change. My weight loss has stalled, and I don't want to cut anymore calories, so increasing activity is the only way to go. I am considering getting some light weights and starting lifting once I can as well. I have lost 90 pounds and have another 50 to go to get me into a healthier weight range. Will continue 1,500 calories a day with plan to add light weight lifting and some walking once healed.

When I my last foot surgery, I did all upper body weights while sitting or laying on the bench...it really helped me continue to burn calories
