Phew! What a day. Stopped by a gas station for lunch; I packed some homemade rye bread and a cup a soup (low-fat split pea). Asked for some hot water for my soup, and bought a diet coke. Normally don't have soda in the house, don't drink it, but I had to buy something as I can't just go in and ask for hot water.
Maybe it was the cold, maybe the fact that instead of sitting down for lunch (even though I usually have lunch at my desk at work, I am still sitting down in a chair), I had my lunch in a car at a gas station, I kept wanting more food. I did not feel sated.
Just walked in the hotel room. The cold noodles I bought from home is frozen solid to a weapons-grade brick so I drove by a Subway and bought a sandwich for dinner (6" roasted turkey breast on multi-grain bread with one slice of cheese). Not the best, but could be much worse. The casino serves just about anything with fried bread.
I did not have anything out of the ordinary but I am over my RDI again. Looking at all these fat people around (obesity rate in this particular Tribe is about 45%) gives me panic attack. Just want to run and get out of here. Kind of feeling depressed.
