I can't wait until this all finally becomes habit. Calorie counting is a big pain, but I gotta do it until it just becomes instinctive. Last night we went to my favorite restaurant and I actually only ate half my meal. I really thought while I was eating..."would I be just as satisfied by just eating 1/2 this sandwich?" and "if I ate the whole thing, would I juset feel uncomfortable, bloated, and guilty?". So I refrained from eating the whole thing on one sitting and actually chose to bypass my urge for always getting instant gratification. The meal was awesome, so I'll definitely be eating the other half tonight. LOL. But, i'm glad I made that smart decision last night.
