Avoided the brownie today at lunch and our cooks at school are excellent bakers it was tough. I substituted it with a luke warm hot chocolate to get my chocolate and sweet fix. People are
starting to notice my weight loss it nice to hear the "atta, girl"s.
Of course I minimize my efforts with the "I have so far to go" comment but old habits are hard to break. Acquaintances only want so much information and many have their own weight loss stories. What I have been encouraged by is that I don't feel like I am dieting. My mind is so focused on anew way of viewing food and enjoying food and changing my lifestyle. By George I think I've got it! And right now I will avoid the brownie, when I meet some more of my goals I might have 1/2 a brownie once in a while. Afterall a girl's gotta live.

You have a great attitude!!! Keep it up. And I think you got one of the "diet secrets" - its not a diet - its a new way of life. It seems more livable that way, doesn't it?

yes, I, too, am tempted with an excellent brownie once a week. Let's face it, you can't have your brownie and lose weight, too. Darn, but that's life. Your weight history is great. It is a lifestyle change that we all have to do to lose weight and keep it off. Have a good week. I need to get back on track after visiting the in-laws. You know how that is...razzleberry pie, etc.
