Hey guys. so i have been watching my calorie intake for a month now and also doing intermittent fasting. my questions are how long does it take to see a difference? do i really need to exercise inorder to lose weight? and how many calories do i need to consume a day inorder to lose weight.

Well you should be patient with yourself. The saying is that it takes 4 weeks for your friends to notice a difference, a little bit more for yourself because your body changes little bit at a time. Taking photos and measurements really helps. It really depends on your height current weight goal weight how many calories you consume on an ordinary day your RDI minus your deficit. Calculate your BMR you can Google it, 3 steps or so and then you minus by 500 cals. Exercise is really up to you. If you exercise too much you might end up eating a lot more because you’re hungry. Doing HIIT for like 15mins could be a good start I don’t know... keto is something I would recommend because you can eat so much protein and good fats you feel fuller for longer. If you’re interested in basics, cut out sugar and starchy carbs as a start.

Hi hi, I recently started using this app but I’ve been trying Intermittent fasting for a while now and started seeing results after one month. Your calorie intake will really depend on how much weight you want to lose and in what period of time. You can work out your macros and Recommended Daily Intake by googling RDI calculator, however do keep in mind in order to lose weight you need to cut back on calories. You really don’t have to exercise, it depends. In my experience “dieting” is what gets me to my goal weight but the exercising is what gets me into the shape and tone I want muscle wise. You know get lean type of way. Maybe try easy things for a start, foam rolling, easy cardio such as 35 min walk/cycle etc, yoga or stretches so ease into exercise. Or even HIIT/tabata (2x a week) it’s really quick and fun and there’s something called afterburn for max results.
