Goodmorning Everyone!!!!!
Well Guess What ????????? I did it,,, I am down 3 more pounds, and under 160.. YIPPIE for ME!!! But thats not the best news.... Saturday I ran/walked my 1st. 5K.... I ran the 1st. mile without stopping, then did intervals of walking and running the next 2.1 miles, with running across the finish line... I completed the race in 32:44:01 minutes, and are you ready for this ????? I came in 3rd. place for my age group... NEVER in a MILLION YEARS, did I ever expect that, I still and now as I am typing this get teary eyed.. I am and never have been so proud of myself... My entire family was so excited for me, I wore that medal around my neck all morning long..
There was one woman younger then me, that took over an hour to do that 5k.... but SHE DID IT!!!!!! and never quit... I wish I would have met her, just to let her know what a great job she did, and she should be an inspiration to alot of people, it has to start some where!!!!
