I was around the 155 mark when I took in my grandchildren on Wed, Sept 19, 2012. I QUICKLY dropped 10-15 pounds!! I was under my 140 mark before the New Year (who LOSES weight over the HOLIDAYS?!). I am PROUD to say that I have stayed WELL UNDER the 140 mark, hovering mostly around the 135-137 range, for the entire year of 2013 so far. I have only THIS WEEK bumped up to 141 due to the emotional eating I'm doing b/c of the impending leaving of my grandchildren to be adopted by a family friend & not seeing them for a while as they adjust to their new home. I'm the ONLY mother my grandson has ever really known at the ripe old age of 15 months.
I'm TRYING to do better cut back on my emotional eating to stop the weight-gain in its tracks before it gets out of control. It's MUCH easier to KEEP it off than to TAKE it off!! Of course, having my MOTHER visiting for a couple of weeks didn't help with her bad eating habbits rubbing off on me too.
