4 miles in 1 hr 9 minutes (new route, partner and stroller)

I quite honestly have heard chili calling my name several times in the last week. I bought all the stuff to make it as low carb as possible, but I never could locate canned (or dried for that matter) black soybeans. Even Walmart says they stock them, I just couldn't find them. IF (that's a BIG IF) they taste anything like a normal bean they would throw the chili into overdrive and really take the carb count down a notch. THey have only 1 carb for 1/2 cup.
My homemade chili made exactly 4 cups after simmering. If I calculated it correctly from the cans it came to 13.5 TOTAL carbs, so just under 4g for each 1 cup serving. I had a cup. ROFL.. I had to put the rest in the fridge. It was SOOOOOO divine. I can't remember the last time I actually ate something with a spoon!
I had just cooled down from my walk and decided to make it. That cup was hot and very filling. If I get hungry anytime soon I'm going to have a lettuce salad. I think I could tweak the carbs down some by just adding more ground meat, but I wanted to maintain the "chili" taste. AND probably if I bought new Chili Powder and not used some 4 year old stuff from my pantry it wouldn't have taken so much chili powder. But those are all things for another day. This chili was plenty good enough for what I was after... PLUS I have enough left for 3 more days (unless someone beats me to it!)
