Well, December was a sad month, lost 2 family members. The whole 2019 year wasn't great. Last year for my family: 3 had gall bladder surgery, 1 had blood clots in her legs, Mom in law was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and isn't doing well, 1 found out she has glaucoma and my youngest niece had her 2nd rotator cuff surgery. To add to that, my friend has so much medical debt she has to claim bankruptcy and another invested her money and found out she's lost half her nest egg. While I "most times" ate Keto, I drank a lot of alcohol as my friends cried. No excuse, just the way things went. Today I cleaned out all the food we shouldn't eat and made a bunch we should eat. Husband who was 290 is back to 304.2, I'm ready to start again and see where this journey will take me. Im hoping 2020 will be the year I get under 200 lbs. A few good things did happen, my 55 yo baby brother retired on 12/31 and Doc said I've had 3 A1Cs under 6, so I no longer need to take my blood sugars daily. Yeah no more finger pricks!
