Day 4. well I am waking up proud of myself! I did not fold last night and eat junk. It was hard! I do notice I am getting very tired and very cranky. I am hoping today will be a better day. Maybe i was that ways cause we went out and i could t eat or drink what i use to. today we r doing a bbq so it's a little safer and not so tempting. yesterday we went to pf changs and i got my furtune, but did not eat the cookie. it said "do not mistake temptation for opportunity" and i thought it was meaning if i eat the food i will not have any opportunitys. crazy thinking I know, But it kept me strong and got me home safe with out breaking my diet. I do feel more at peace today. Has anyone notice since u were on akins you get full fast? I get full very fast. Have a great day sunday. Sara

Hi Sara! Yes! I get very full, very fast, and i am not hungry like I use to be. Hang in there! Those cravings and the crankiness will subside. Some people say they experience more energy than before, I don't really have that, but I am not as tired as I was in the beginning. Good for you for doing this!!

Yep... I do eat less than I used to...but I eat WAY more often. It is interesting to start "listening" to our bodies...AND to start telling the difference between hunger and craving. The first 3 weeks were hardest for me...but now it's only an issue if I give in to sweets. I use the cravings as a signal to drink water..when I crave... I chug a bunch of water down.. I try to get in a gallon a day (crazy, no?) But that habit has helped me lose more than 55 lbs since April 1st! Here's to continued successes!!

Yes, I do get full faster. I have to keep telling myself to eat because I am not hungry like I use to be. It sure is a nice feeling not to have food controling me. Before Atkins, if there was food visible, I use to have my hands in it. Now I don't. What a great feeling.

just six weeks ago I was the chick sitting on the couch eating a half bag of Oreo cookies...and could have eaten the whole thing..but didn't want to over do it...LOL.

Yes I get full faster too and after about the 1st week the crankies went away! I now have a hard time getting in my RDI on a daily basis, but the weight continues to drop and I have more energy that I can ever remember having! I can now keep up with my 3 kids! keep up the good work and have a great day!
