Well. People say I am very pretty and young looking but very overweight. I've tried to lose weight but I am an emotional eater. Right now not well so have to make changes. I am seeing a counselor on Monday which I hope helps with the reasons I eat the wrong things daily! My health is scaring me a bit...aches and pains, headaches, severe colon pain - I think my extra weight is too much for my bod to hoof around anymore so time for action. I never planned to eat healthily or join a forum but here I am at 04:51pm on Saturday, 10 August 2019. I realise it will take time and I feel a bit better being able to eat sort of what I want within healthy boundaries. Right now I am trying to focus on regular meals, realistic portion sizes, drinking more water, healthier choices and feeling better physically. I love the posts so honest and inspiring even reading about the battles of others. I hope we all succeed.

Welcome. Welldone, First step taken which is the most important, that is making the effort to change your lifestyle. If i can offer some tips from my journey: Most important thing to do is to drink water, for your weight, about 3 litres a day. Then cut sugar and starches. These three things will give you a weight loss of at least 5kgs in your first 30days. Carbs are not the demon everyone makes them out to be... obviously referring to good carbs. They have actually stimulated my weight loss during the month of July 19. Macro’s are extremely important to track so pay attention to them, they are the difference between loosing and not loosing. Good luck and im sure you going to succeed with the great bunch of people on FS to support you.
