I love going to visit family. It's awesome to spend time with them, especially over a long weekend or an extended amount of time.
This past weekend was amazing. Great weather, amazing days by the lake, bonfires and all around awesomeness.
BUT !!! The thing that makes it so difficult, FOOD. Now, when you are at home you are in full control. WHOLLY !! How difficult is it to stay at someones house who is in control of feeding you lol. That was a tough 3 days of eating things I didn't make. I tried to stay to basics ...but at the same time...I outlined what I am and not eating... DO YOU EVER FEEL BAD though! I don't want to be rude and not eat something. Especially when you have invited me into your home and you have made this for me.
I was mostly good. I had a piece of cake. ok... 2 pieces of cake. Now you know what!? I DON'T EVEN LIKE CAKE. I wouldn't get home after a long day eat dinner and think ooh I want cake lol.
So just a little annoyed that I had to eat things like this but whatever ...the weekend is over and we are back on track as of RIGHT NOW
